I’m a Louisiana girl who is chasing simple things that make life feel special — a slow morning with a good cup of coffee that takes longer to make than it does to drink, warm bread baking in the oven that kisses the whole house with its delicious smell, flowers gathered from the garden and put in mason jars all over the room, a beautifully set table with things gathered from around the yard, and any excuse to have people over.

I created this corner of the internet as a place to share the things I’m learning, making, cooking, dreaming about, and experiencing along the way.

You’ll find recipes I actually make at home, hosting ideas, bits of everyday life, travel itineraries, encouragement for your Faith and things God is teaching me, wedding planning, and everything in between. I’m drawn to things that feel simple, beautiful, intentional, and a little bit nostalgic.

Join me, a 23 year old fiancé and dog mom, in figuring out what it looks like to build a life I really love — one that leaves room for creativity, family, hospitality, dreaming, work I’m passionate about, and plenty of time around the table with the ones I love.
